Three steps from order to your job site.
1. Choose your material
Mulch and soil by the yard; gravel, limestone and stone by the ton. Order a half or full unit.
2. Pick up or have it delivered
Load at our yard during normal hours, or we deliver Monday to Friday.
3. We schedule you
After you order, Plumline calls with the first available slot.
Delivery & pickup
Delivery
$11 per mile one way, per trip. $35 minimum for 4 miles or less. No free delivery zone. We deliver Mon-Fri, and Plumline calls with the first available slot.
Pickup
Pick up during normal hours at 4151 Logan Ferry Rd, Murrysville. Call (724) 327-6775 and we'll have your order staged.
Truck limits
Truck limits: stone and soil up to 5 tons/yards per load; mulch and compost up to 8 yards.

Frequently Asked Questions
1. How is bulk material sold?
Mulch, topsoil and compost are sold by the 1/2 yard. Gravel, limestone, Maryland Seashore and Northern Blue are sold by the 1/2 ton. Our Mixed Topsoil & Compost is sold by the yard only (1 yard), and we mix it on site.
2. What does it cost?
Mulch is $40 per yard. Topsoil and compost are $60 per yard. Gravel and limestone are $60 per ton, and Maryland Seashore and Northern Blue are $150 per ton.
3. How much does delivery cost?
Delivery is $11 per mile, one way, per trip, with a $35 minimum for 4 miles or less. There is no free delivery zone.
4. When do you deliver, and can I pick a time?
We deliver Monday through Friday. After you order, we call you with the first available delivery slot. We can't offer customer-chosen time slots.
5. How much can you deliver at once?
A truck carries up to 5 tons or yards of stone or soil per load, and up to 8 yards of mulch or compost per load.
6. Can I pick it up myself?
Yes. Pick up during our normal hours at 4151 Logan Ferry Rd, Murrysville, and we load it for you.
7. How much do I need?
As a rough rule, 1 yard of material covers about 100 square feet at a depth of 3 inches (approximate). Depth, material and how it settles change the real number, so call us at (724) 327-6775 if you'd like help estimating. Or use our mulch calculator.
8. Do you offer contractor pricing?
Yes. Approved contractor accounts get wholesale pricing, including 10% off bulk materials. Apply at plumlinenursery.com/wholesale.
