In 1974, Bill Tribou started Plumline Nursery by growing specialty rhododendrons during evenings and weekends on a small property in Murrysville. His passion for plants and landscaping grew into the beautiful 30 acre garden center and display gardens Plumline customers enjoy today.

Always the perfectionist, Bill planted one of each variety of tree and shrub he hoped to sell. Many of those plants remain part of Plumline’s mature display gardens, featuring more than 50 varieties of Japanese maples, rare conifers, broadleaf evergreens, perennials, and the Living Waters Memorial Garden constructed in his honor.

Today, Plumline is more than a garden center. Our experienced landscape design and installation team helps homeowners transform their outdoor spaces with custom designs, plantings, trees and shrubs, garden beds, and complete landscape renovations.
