Does Plumline Nursery sell wholesale to landscapers near Pittsburgh?
Yes. We sell to landscape contractors, hardscapers, builders, property managers and re-wholesalers through wholesale accounts. Our 40-acre Murrysville yard stocks 4,000+ plant varieties plus bulk mulch, soil and stone.
How do I open a contractor account?
Apply online at plumlinenursery.com/request-wholesale-account or call (724) 327-6775. Applications are approved within 5 days.
What contractor pricing do you offer?
We have five tiers based on calendar-year spend: Tier 1 is 12% off for any approved account, Tier 2 is 18% at $5,000+, Tier 3 is 28% at $10,000+, Tier 4 is 30% at $20,000+ and Tier 5 is 32% at $30,000+. Tiers move up automatically during the year and are reviewed every January 1. Bulk materials get a separate 10% wholesale bulk discount instead of the tier discount.
What are the payment terms?
Approved accounts get net 30, or you can pay by card, cash or check. There's no order minimum.
Do you deliver to job sites?
Yes, Monday through Friday across the Pittsburgh area, including Monroeville, Plum, Penn Hills, Export, Greensburg and Oakmont. Delivery is $11 per mile one way, charged per trip, with a $35 minimum for 4 miles or less.
Trees, bulk & pickup
Do you stock B&B and specimen trees?
Yes. We carry B&B and container evergreens and shade trees, such as Green Giant arborvitae, Spartan juniper and Norway spruce. For jobs with actual orders, we tag trees ahead and keep them up to 15 days.
How many Japanese maple varieties do you carry?
50+, upright and weeping, including Bloodgood, Tamukeyama, Crimson Queen, Shindeshojo and Seiryu.
Can contractors buy bulk by the yard or ton?
We sell and load all bulk goods (mulch, topsoil, compost, gravel, limestone and stone) by the 1/2 yard or 1/2 ton. Packaged goods and boulders are sold separately.
What time can contractors pick up, and is there a warranty?
Pickup is during our normal hours: Mon–Wed 8am–4:30pm, Thu–Fri 8am–6pm, Sat 8am–4:30pm, Sun 10am–4pm. Wholesale purchases carry no warranty.
