Planting and growing

When grown indoors, Rio Philodendron can be expected to grow to about 12 inches tall with a spread of 6 feet. It grows quickly and under ideal conditions can live approximately 10 years. It performs well in bright or indirect sunlight and strong artificial light. It prefers evenly moist soil but will not tolerate standing water. Water once or twice weekly as needed. It benefits from regular feeding. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. Parts are toxic to humans and animals, so use care around children and pets.
