Planting and growing

When grown indoors, Prismacolor™ Imperial Gold Philodendron can be expected to grow to be about 20 inches tall at maturity, with a spread of 24 inches. It grows at a fast rate, and under ideal conditions can be expected to live for approximately 10 years. This houseplant performs well in bright or indirect sunlight and strong artificial light. It prefers average to moist soil. The surface should not be allowed to dry out completely; water once or twice each week as needed. It benefits from regular feeding. It is not particular as to soil type or pH. Parts are toxic to humans and animals, so use care around children and pets.
