Honeycrisp Apple (Malus domestica 'Honeycrisp') is a variety of apple. Large red-yellow fruit, crisp, juicy, very sweet flavor, ripens early to mid season. It matures at about 12 to 15 feet tall and 12 to 15 feet wide with a rounded habit and a medium growth rate. Plant in full sun with average to moist soil moisture. Most apples need a different apple or crabapple variety blooming nearby for good pollination. It is grown on semi-dwarf rootstock for a smaller tree that is easier to manage and harvest. Hardy to USDA Zone 3.
