Blue Jay Blueberry (Vaccinium corymbosum 'Blue Jay') is a variety of highbush blueberry, a native shrub with white spring flowers, edible blueberries and red fall color. Medium to large fruit with high sugar content ripen in July, crimson fall color. It matures at about 7 feet tall and wide with an upright habit and a medium growth rate. Plant in full sun to part shade with average to moist soil moisture. It is easy to grow. Hardy to USDA Zone 4.
