Grows best in wet, moist, and average soils. Adaptable to drier soils and is even mildly drought tolerant once established. Thrives in wet, poorly drained soils.

Best planted at least 10-30' away from homes and building structures, half the width of a mature Bald cypress (20-40' w).

Attractive russet-orange.
