Symphyotrichum ericoides 'Snow Flurry' - Snow Flurry Aster

Snow Flurry Aster (Symphyotrichum ericoides 'Snow Flurry') is a low, spreading selection of the North American native heath aster. It forms a mat of fine, narrow leaves that is covered in tiny white, daisy-like flowers in late summer and fall, when little else is blooming, and it is a valuable late-season nectar source for bees and butterflies. Plants stay under about a foot tall and spread about 2 feet wide, making it a good choice for the front of a border, a rock garden or spilling over a wall. Best in full sun and well-drained, average to dry soil; drought tolerant once established. Hardy in USDA Zones 3 to 9.
